Set Hostname

This is the example for setting Hostname of your system.
[1] Change hostname. (but if rebooting, it will be back).
# show current hostname

root@ubuntu:~#
hostname

ubuntu
# change hostname

root@ubuntu:~#
hostname dlp

root@ubuntu:~#
hostname

dlp    
# just changed
[2] Change hostname permanently.
root@ubuntu:~#
hostnamectl set-hostname dlp
# show settings

root@ubuntu:~#
hostnamectl 

   Static hostname: dlp.srv.world
         Icon name: computer-vm
           Chassis: vm
        Machine ID: f736754772684419b76513e3725fe3d4
           Boot ID: 59a9aff57b434dd9b7569364622cdcc3
